Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy


1. Policy Statement
TP Tree Care Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking in all its forms. We are committed to acting with integrity in everything we do and to ensuring that our business and supply chain are free from exploitation.

2. Legal Framework
This policy is made in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and relevant UK legislation.

3. Scope
This policy applies to all workers, subcontractors, and suppliers engaged by TP Tree Care Ltd.

4. Responsibility
Tom Prescott, as the owner and sole director of TP Tree Care Ltd, holds overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with this policy and for maintaining awareness of modern slavery risks within the business.

5. Our Commitments
TP Tree Care Ltd commits to the following:We do not use forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour.All workers are employed freely and have the right to leave employment with reasonable notice.We carry out right-to-work checks for all workers before engagement.We do not charge recruitment fees to workers.We pay all workers at or above the National Living Wage.

6. Supply Chain
We expect all suppliers and subcontractors to operate to the same standards. Where concerns arise about the practices of any supplier or subcontractor, we will investigate and, where necessary, terminate the relationship.

7. Awareness
Modern slavery awareness is discussed as part of our regular team communication. All workers are encouraged to remain vigilant and to report any concerns without fear of reprisal.

8. Reporting Concerns
Any concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking within our business or supply chain should be raised directly with Tom Prescott at tom@tptreecare.com. Concerns can also be reported anonymously to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700 or at modernslaveryhelpline.org.

9. Review
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation or business operations.
